Brands

Create Brand DNA with name or URL autocomplete, run analysis, link social accounts, and use brands from chat, MCP, API, or CLI.

Brands store the voice, visuals, and linked social accounts that auto-social.io should follow when generating content. In onboarding this shows up as Brand DNA.

In the app

  1. Open Brands (or complete Brand DNA during onboarding).
  2. Create a brand with a name and/or a website or social URL. While you type a company name, autocomplete can suggest matching brands and domains so you pick the right one faster.
  3. Link connected accounts from Social accounts. One social account belongs to at most one brand.
  4. Run Analyze so auto-social.io extracts tone, colors, logos, and messaging. Known brands may enrich logo and color data from a brand database in addition to scraping your URLs.
  5. Optionally enable weekly refresh (100 credits per run after your first free analysis).

Cost: the first brand analysis per user is free (including Brand DNA during onboarding). Later manual or weekly runs cost 100 credits each.

What analysis gives you

After a successful run, the brand profile typically includes:

  • Source URLs and linked social accounts
  • Tone and messaging notes
  • Colors and logo assets when found
  • Structured fields you can edit later on the brand detail page

Use Get brand in the UI, or the get_brand agent tool, to read the stored profile. Prefer get_brand over polling analysis unless you just enqueued analyze_brand.

How brands affect generation

When a brand is linked to the post or conversation:

  • Captions and briefs can follow stored voice and messaging notes
  • Image and video prompts can include brand summary and color guidance so creatives stay on-brand
  • You still edit drafts before publish in Assistant mode

You do not need to restate full brand guidelines in every chat message once Brand DNA is saved.

Agent tools

get_brandRead an existing brand profile
